Since
its establishment in 1996, Pleiades Digital Communications,
Inc. has initiated a new type of business focusing
on Macintosh software, peripheral equipment, and
a variety of internet related products. Just in
the last few years, it has grown into a sole distributor
for unique Macintosh import products such as processor
upgrade cards and accessories for the iPod. In
2001 right after Apple Computer announced
the iPod, the Pleiades Digital Communications,
Inc. became recognized throughout Japan as the
first company ever to put the Pod Protector
(iPod Leather case)by OWC on the market. It has
since served as a leading company and is continuously
responding
to the market’s changing needs of new products.
In 2002, Pleiades started distributing to the “Apple Store Ginza,” which
was the first retail store located overseas directly run by Apple Computer. The
opening of the Apple store in Japan not only enabled local Mac users to purchase
their
favorite products, but also increased the need for Apple associated products
at other PC/appliance stores, which rapidly expanded Pleiades’ business.
Pleiades deals directly and exclusively with selected manufactures abroad for
import and retail sales in Japan on an official contract agreement. In addition
to its company motto, Quality Products Guaranteed, Pleiades also values the importance
of its after-sales services
to the customer for example, a long term warranty here in Japan. Pleiades Digital
Communications, Inc. will continue to focus and expand quality sales and enhanced
customer services.
In 2006, Pleaides Digital Communications, Inc has reorganized, the name of the
company was changed to Pleiades System Designs, Inc. |
